Who I am

“If one had to find a word that replaces the word “music” one can only think of Venice.”

I was born in Venice on 24 December 1972 and after attending a linguistic school, I graduated in History of Art from the University Cà Foscari of Venice with a specialisation in the sixteenth century Venice. I have been working as a tour guide since 1998, and I have always been involved in the history of art and culture initiatives of the city government: first at the Correr Museum  as an Art Historian and now at the Cultural Office of the Commune of Venice.
My passions?! Art, Culture,
literature, music, fashion, cooking, animals and nature…in one word, beauty.

What I love about my job is that, every day, I get a chance to stay in contact with the beauty of my city; its works, its churches, museums, streets and customs, and I can always meet new people who speak different languages, have different customs, and eat different foods. I consider myself to be a very privileged person, because my passions – art and communication – became my profession.
